Nowadays.. I keep wondering ..
..the social distancing due to the pandemic.. has kept the children deprived of their natural outdoor playtime.. in parks, gardens with their fellow-mates.
But ..wait..along with the above .. a delight has come..of your children not suffering from the seasonal infections.. not seeing your kids with those running or crusty nose..and of course those terrible nights.. when the temperature.. shoots up like anything.. and all your logics .. of “temperature is good... to make the things better ”... go for a toss.
And then due to this .. are we missing something.. in respect of their health and immunity?.. may-be or may-not be..
As we know .. these infections..ultimately.. construct (of course in a harsh way) your child’s immune system...
So, is this social distancing for a year or two may be ...comprising their building blocks of a mature and healthy immune system.
There are multiple theories presented by our pediatrics, worldwide..many are.. for and many are against.
But ultimately.. one thing ..which they have concluded, after tremendous researches ..is a sigh of relief for the mothers.
So.. what is that sigh of relief..
1.The immunity system of the kids.. are not only dependent on the external environmental factors but also inherited.
2.Kids who are having the breastfeeding keep getting those maternal antibodies from the mother’s milk
3.Many people have also opted for getting pets for their kids during the pandemics.. to make them engaged. These pets not only become friends to them but also increase their immunity.. by exposing them to the allergens.
4.One thing of-course is very important to get the vaccinations on time along with the flu shots, really important for training their body to the germs.
5.Last but not the least.. the healthy intake of daily diets.. consisting of immunity supporting vitamins like A,C,E and minerals like zinc, copper, selenium etc.
So relax ladies.. just a matter of 1-2 years of social distancing will not be a big compromise with your kid’s health.. and so stop worrying and enjoy the family timing.
